Continuing its commitment to providing high quality services, Advanced Process Lab is now certified to help IPC identify a network of trusted electronics manufacturing suppliers.

May 13, 2014 – Universal Instruments’ Advanced Process Lab (APL) was recently recognized for maintaining world-class standards when the IPC Validation Services program added the APL to its short list of Certified Test Laboratories. In doing so, IPC has authorized the APL to perform IPC validation testing of electronics manufacturing industry suppliers.

In order to qualify for this distinction, the APL was evaluated in an IPC audit which examined APL capabilities, processes, and results. Once approved, the APL was added to a list of only three other IPC-certified test laboratories.

“It’s an honor for us to be acknowledged by an industry-respected organization such as IPC,” said Universal’s APL Director, Dave Vicari. “Because of IPC’s reputation for excellence and for establishing the most widely accepted industry standards worldwide, this certification confirms our leadership position and the value we provide our global customer base,” he added.

In addition to offering test laboratory certification, IPC provides validation services for OEMs and EMS providers, as well as EMS suppliers.
