Universal Names Peter Roelvink Regional Manager, European Customer Operations

Roelvink brings to Universal more than 25 years of experience and a strong history of generating new accounts and growing regional sales revenues.

April 26, 2013 – Based in Rijen, Netherlands, Roelvink leads Universal’s customer operations teams in Italy, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, and the Middle East, working closely with both Universal colleagues and channel partners. He reports to Koen Vinck, general manager, European, Middle Eastern, and African customer operations.

“I intend to combine my extensive contacts in the region with a thorough understanding of customer relationships and the nuances of the sales cycle to continue building on Universal’s momentum in Europe, where we added more than 10 new customers last year,” said Roelvink.

“Peter is one of seven new senior managers we have hired over the past year to further strengthen our global infrastructure to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service worldwide,” explained Universal Vice President of Customer Operations Brad Bennett. “Universal will continue to take advantage of the expertise of our outstanding team to bring the industry’s most comprehensive technology, solutions, and services portfolio to manufacturers in the region,” he added.

Before joining Universal, Roelvink was most recently international sales manager at Juki Automation Systems AG. He is a certified trainer and coach at BPMA Institute for Commercial Attitude and Sales Process Control, and holds a bachelor’s degree in both electronics and mechanical engineering from NaRaFi College in Brussels, Belgium.
