Pattern Error Correction cameras are fiducial inspection cameras for Fuzion machines. All Fuzion machines come with one PEC camera per beam. Various replacement packages available based on need.
NOTE: Each PEC camera listed corresponds with a specific beam in your machine: beam 1 or beam 2. Single beam Fuzion machines use beam 1 cameras.

Upward Looking Camera (ULC) – for FZ7 (in-line 7) Heads
The Fuzion platform machine supports two Magellan Upward Looking Cameras (ULCs): one in the center of the front and/or rear feeder bank.
These cameras employ mega-pixel technology, which maximizes the size of a component that can be centered while imaging a component’s features (ex. leads, bumps and pads.)
For components larger than the camera’s field-of-view, the machine processes multiple images to inspect the component. In this mode, machine through-put is reduced while part range is expanded.
The max component size for imaging on a Magellan ULC is 150 mm square using multiple fields of view.

Narrow Field-of-View (NFOV) and Wide Field-of-View (WFOV) Cameras – for FZ30 (30-Spindle) Head
Two on-the-head cameras mount directly to the FZ30 (30-spindle) head and maximize machine efficiency by imaging components while the head travels from the feeders directly to the printed circuit board.
The standard narrow field-of-view camera (0.55 mils/pixel) can image components from 0201m (008004 in.) to 12 mm square.
The two optional wide field-of-view cameras (0.94 and 2.8 mils/pixel) can image components up to 20 mm or 30 mm square.
