There are two tiers to the Feeder Refurbishment Program:

Tier 1 Renovation

  • Status: The feeders have a variety of issues and require enhanced repair.
  • Program Details: We will perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing wearable parts required to return the feeder to a functional production state. This may include but is not limited to hardware, including screws, nuts, e-clips, springs, belts, rollers, gears, tooth plates, tension arms, burn-in, and calibration.
  • Includes a 90-day warranty
  • *Price: $500/Unit

Tier 2 Renovation & Optimization (1-5 Feeders)

  • Status: The feeders have various issues and require enhanced repair and optimization.
  • Program Details: We will perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing wearable parts required to return the feeder to a functional production state. This may include but is not limited to hardware, including screws, nuts, e-clips, and springs, as well as belts, rollers, gears, tooth plates, tension arms, burn-in, and calibration.
  • Includes additional diagnostic time evaluating and repairing subsystems such as, but not limited to, carrier drives, tooth plates, or drive gears that can be root causes of high mispicks
  • Includes a 90-day warranty
  • *Price: $750/Unit

Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions, in addition to Universal’s standard Terms and Conditions of Sale, shall apply to the Feeder Refurbishment Program:

  1. Buyer shall be (i) responsible for all shipping of Refurbished Products to and from Seller and (ii) fully liable for any and all delays, breakages or damages to such Refurbished Products. All packaging of Refurbished Products shall be the responsibility of Buyer.
  2. Delivery date(s) are contingent upon receipt of the Refurbished Products from Buyer.
  3. Acceptance of the Refurbished Product is achieved upon the date of return shipment of the Refurbished Product to Buyer.
  4. Seller warrants that it shall use its best efforts to perform all refurbishing services contracted for under this quotation in accordance with sound professional practices and the requirements set forth in Seller’s quotation and/or order confirmation. Except for the foregoing, refurbishing services Refurbished Products are provided with a 90 day warranty period from the date of Acceptance and shall be limited to only replacement of the specific parts replaced in the Refurbished Product. Any labor provided under warranty for Refurbished Products shall be at Seller’s standard rates.
  5. Any order arising out of this quotation cannot be cancelled or returned.
  6. If a Refurbished Product does not match the designated Tier or is non-repairable, upon mutual written agreement Seller will either (i) provide refurbishing services of the Refurbished Product at the appropriate Tier upon receipt of a revised PO from Buyer or (ii) destroy or return such Refurbished Product at Buyer’s expense, which shall include a $125.00 diagnostic fee per such returned Refurbished Product.
